The Puppy Application is used when there is an upcoming litter that you are interested in. This allows you to have first chance at a potential puppy.

When filling out this application please do not skip your name and contact information. I have no way of getting in touch with you if you skip those fields.

You do not have to purchase a puppy if the puppy application is filled out. This just gives you a greater opportunity to be in line to pick a puppy of your choice.

Once you fill it out and hit submit, I will receive it in an email and will contact you and set up a time for a phone call. Puppies are not sold without me talking with you first.

have you done your research.
If No, have you done your research and understand the breed, especially towards strangers and around children.
Active or laid back/couch potato or somewhere in between?
This person is who the puppy will bond with the most?
I believe strongly in crate training. Our puppies are started on crate training at 6 weeks old. This will keep your puppy/dog safe. This also will keep your puppy/dog from getting into things and chewing up your house/furniture while you are away and can not watch him/her.
Australian Shepherds are usually compatible with every breed. It's the other breed that may not be compatible with Aussies. Aussies are playful dogs and can get very excited during play time.
Australian Shepherds are herding dogs and will nip and chase/herd children. If not taken seriously and corrected, children could be injured. Obedience training is a must with this breed.
Please ask for suggestions from a trainer or someone that has already introduced an infant/child to the family and had great success
Aussies do shed so pet dander could be a problem for someone that has allergies or asthma.

fenced yard or suitable pen
Aussies are a double coated breed and should not be shaved to the skin. Their coat protects them from the elements. A groom trimming (leaving at least 1-1.5" of coat) and blow out with daily brushing can keep a coat matt free.
